Is Zeplin a good HTML template for someone leaving Adobe Muse?
Zeplin from GoldEyes is a $15 Bootstrap creative template that ships the Novi visual page builder, so pages can be edited by drag and drop instead of by hand. It holds a perfect 5.00 rating from 8 reviews after 219 sales. The download contains two folders: a clean classic HTML build and a builder version.
Best for: a designer who wants static files but still wants to edit pages visually
The Zeplin HTML template from GoldEyes is a Bootstrap creative template with a visual page builder inside. Moreover, it ships as two separate builds. Therefore you choose between hand-coding and dragging blocks around.
A page builder in a static template
Most HTML templates hand you files and a code editor. Zeplin bundles the Novi visual page builder instead. As a result you set text, images, colours, sliders, the contact form and MailChimp settings by dragging blocks. Consequently a designer who left Adobe Muse keeps the part Muse was good at – visual editing that publishes plain files.

Two folders, two ways to work
The download contains two builds. First, a clean classic HTML version for developers who prefer the markup. Second, a builder version for everyone else. In addition, GoldEyes support both. Therefore a studio can start in the builder and hand the clean build to a developer later without buying a second licence.
Sixteen demos and forty-six templates
Zeplin carries 16+ demos and 46+ page templates, usable as multi-page sites or one-page scrollers. Furthermore, the grid supports fullwidth, fullscreen, wide and boxed layouts. Portfolio pages use Isotope filtering, and the history and timeline blocks handle an agency “about” page without custom work.
The rating and the date
Zeplin holds a perfect 5.00 across 8 ratings after 219 sales. However, two caveats apply. Eight ratings is a small sample, so the score carries less weight than a 4.89 across thousands. In addition, the last release landed on 26 January 2024. Therefore test Revolution Slider and the contact form before launch.
What it costs
At $15 for the Regular License, Zeplin is among the cheapest templates we list that also carry a perfect score. Moreover, the bundled Isotope filter alone is sold separately for $25. Consequently the licence pays for itself if you would have bought that plugin anyway.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Zeplin include a page builder?
Yes. The Novi Visual Page Builder ships with the template, so text, images, colours, sliders and forms are edited by dragging blocks rather than by writing HTML.
What is in the Zeplin download?
Two folders: a clean classic HTML build and a builder version. Both are supported, so you can start in one and move to the other later.
How current is Zeplin?
The most recent update is dated 26 January 2024, which is older than most templates we list. Test Revolution Slider and the contact form against current browsers before launch.
How many demos does Zeplin include?
16 or more demos and 46 or more page templates, each usable as a multi-page site or a one-page scroller.
Is a 5.00 rating from 8 reviews reliable?
It is a good sign, but a small sample. Eight ratings carry less weight than a 4.89 from thousands, so read the comments and check the update date alongside the score.
Is Zeplin a good replacement for Adobe Muse?
It is the closest static option we list, because it keeps visual editing and still publishes plain files. The trade-off is the 2024 update date.
