Savoy puts products on quiet, flat surfaces and runs the whole shop on AJAX, from filters to add-to-cart, without extra plugins. Moreover, NordicMade shipped version 3.2.2 on 7 September 2026. In addition, it holds 16,829 sales at a 4.83 rating, the strongest record among minimalist shop themes. It costs $79.

Sober from uixthemes ships 16 homepages with thin type, pale backgrounds and almost no decoration, each in Elementor and WPBakery versions. Moreover, version 3.6.6 from 10 August 2026 is ready for WordPress 7.1. In addition, it holds 10,419 sales at a 4.75 rating. It costs $59.

Karbon from CaliberThemes is a minimal Elementor portfolio theme with a dark homepage built from simple geometric shapes. Moreover, CaliberThemes updated it on 10 September 2026 with WordPress 7.0 support. However, it launched in late 2025 and has 64 sales and three ratings. It costs $39, the lowest price among the new picks.

Lightweight flat themes that start free

Blocksy is the fastest-rising lightweight theme of 2026, with 300,000+ active installs and a 5.0 rating from 872 WordPress.org reviews. Moreover, the free version already includes a header builder, a WooCommerce module and 45+ starter sites. Pro costs $69 per year or $199 for a lifetime licence.

Astra passed 1,000,000 active installs and holds a 4.9 rating from 6,514 reviews, the largest record of any theme here. Moreover, its starter templates cover Elementor, Beaver Builder and Gutenberg on a flat, fast base. Astra Pro costs $69 per year or $349 for a lifetime licence.

Kadence runs on 500,000+ sites with a 4.9 rating, and even the free version includes a header and footer builder. Moreover, the Kadence Blocks plugin turns the block editor into a real page builder. However, premium plans start at $99 per year, the highest entry price of the four lightweight themes.

GeneratePress keeps the smallest footprint of the four lightweight themes and holds a 5.0 rating from 1,426 reviews. Moreover, GP Premium costs $59 per year and covers up to 500 websites. In addition, its plain, flat defaults make it a clean starting point for any design.

Flat design WooCommerce themes

Flatsome carries “flat” in its name and still leads ThemeForest shop sales with 269,858 copies at a 4.83 rating. Moreover, UX-themes updated it on 5 August 2026 with WordPress 7.0 support. In addition, its own UX Builder handles page layouts, so it needs neither Elementor nor WPBakery. It costs $59.

Konte from uixthemes rates 4.81 across 6,895 sales, higher than Sober from the same author. Moreover, it pairs flat, editorial shop layouts with a fully customizable header and footer. In addition, uixthemes updated it on 10 August 2026 with WordPress 7.0 support. It costs $59.

Goya costs $29, the lowest price among the proven shop themes here, yet it has 10,008 sales at a 4.63 rating. Moreover, it offers clean, modern layouts and a customizable header builder. However, it stays on WPBakery. The author updated it on 6 September 2026.

Suprema from Select-Themes is a multipurpose WooCommerce theme with flat, bright layouts for stores that sell several kinds of products. Moreover, Select-Themes updated it on 24 April 2026 with WordPress 7.0 support. However, 1,577 sales at a 4.56 rating is a modest record for $79.

Flat themes for marketing and business sites

SEOWP from BlueAstral targets digital marketing and SEO agencies, and it holds 16,151 sales at a 4.62 rating. Moreover, BlueAstral shipped an update on 9 September 2026. However, its compatibility list stops at WordPress 6.9. It costs $69.

Startit is Select-Themes’ startup and business theme, with 12,997 sales at a 4.48 rating. Moreover, its flat, bright layouts suit apps, SaaS products and small companies. However, the last update arrived on 26 August 2025, so check the changelog before you buy. It costs $69.

Hostar from wpoceans is a web hosting theme with flat, isometric illustrations and WooCommerce support. Moreover, it lists WordPress 7.0 compatibility and received an update on 29 December 2025. However, it has only 98 sales and no rating yet. It costs $69.

Flat design for real estate and blogs

Real Estate 7 from contempoinc holds 10,019 sales at a 4.79 rating, the strongest record among the niche themes here. Moreover, it covers listings, lead generation and IDX support on Elementor. In addition, contempoinc updated it on 3 September 2026. At $89 it is the most expensive theme on this page.

Flow from Elated-Themes is a creative blog theme with bright, flat post layouts and several list and single post styles. However, it rates 4.27 across 1,801 sales, the lowest score we kept, and the last update arrived on 31 October 2025. It costs $85.

Selling products? Savoy gives you the most proven AJAX shop at $79, while Sober offers 16 homepages at $59 and Goya costs just $29. Building a portfolio? Karbon is the newest pick at $39.
