13 Best Charity Website Templates 2026 (HTML5)

By Updated: 0

What is the best charity website template in 2026?

CharityFund from ThemeMascot leads our list of 13 charity website templates for layout choice. It costs $17, has 662 sales and a 4.70 rating, and ships 84+ layouts, including dark and RTL versions. KindAid ($17, October 2025) is the newest design, NativeChurch ($18, 1,677 sales) is the pick for churches, and Gracious ($9, updated February 2026) is the budget choice.

Best for: charities, NGOs, churches and fundraising campaigns building a charity site on static HTML, with donation pages ready for a payment service

Looking for the best charity website templates in 2026? We rebuilt this list from the 2021 original, which had only three entries. We also merged our two older HTML5 charity round-ups into this page and rechecked every template on ThemeForest. Now 13 templates remain, including three new additions, each with a live demo, a current price and a review.

How to choose charity website templates

Start with the job the site must do. A fundraising campaign needs donation progress, a countdown and a clear donate button, while a church needs sermons and an events calendar. Next, check the framework on the item page. Bootstrap 5 is current, and Bootstrap 4 still works, although it is a step behind. Also look at the last update date rather than the launch year.

Remember that every HTML template is front-end only. So real donations need a payment service or a donation platform behind the forms. Finally, count the pages you will actually use instead of the number of demos. Curious what another charity site runs? If it runs WordPress, our free theme detector names the theme.

New additions for 2026

CharityFund leads this list for layout choice. ThemeMascot counts more than 84 demo layouts, including eight dark and eight right-to-left versions, plus 60 Slider Revolution hero templates. It also has 662 sales and a 4.70 rating from 23 reviews. The listing says Bootstrap 5.x and shows a 27 May 2025 update, although the demo and description still say Bootstrap 3.

2. KindAid

KindAid is the newest design here, released by AQLOVA in October 2025. Its bold serif headlines and warm colours feel closer to a modern campaign site than to a classic charity template. The $17 package ships three home pages, 18 inner pages, a causes page with donation progress and shop pages on Bootstrap 5. It has no ratings yet, so treat it as a fresh pick rather than a proven one.

NativeChurch is the best-selling dedicated church and charity template in this collection, with 1,677 sales and a 4.75 rating from 55 reviews. It suits churches and faith-based charities that publish sermons and events every week. For example, sermon pages support audio and video, while events run on FullCalendar with a countdown. Version 2.0 added a Bootstrap 5 build and an RTL template. The listing shows an update in July 2025, though the changelog ends at v2.0 in August 2021.

Donation templates updated since 2024

Gracious is the cheapest template in our list at $9, yet mannatstudio updated it on 27 February 2026. The listing marks it compatible with Bootstrap 5.x and 4.x, while the description still says Bootstrap 4. You get three home variations plus cause, event, team and volunteer pages. It holds a 4.75 rating, although only four buyers have rated it so far.

Charity Home first went on sale in 2016, and the listing shows an update on 4 September 2025. The changelog does not say what changed, though. The design stays simple, with three home variations and a donation countdown for appeals with a fixed deadline. A working PHP/Ajax contact form also comes ready to connect. It holds a 4.83 rating from six reviews and runs on Bootstrap 4.x.

6. Findo

Findo from HiBootstrap is built on Bootstrap 5.3.3 and Sass. It includes RTL versions for Arabic and Hebrew plus a dark and light mode. The author aims it at fundraising, charity and donation websites, with four demos and 22+ pages. It is also the most expensive pick here at $35, and it has no ratings yet despite 146 sales. Its last update arrived on 16 May 2024.

7. Helpo

Helpo has 838 sales, the most of any fundraising template in this list, and a 4.67 rating from 12 reviews. Artureanec gives you six home pages in colour and monochrome styles, plus more than 100 elements. Cart and checkout pages also let a charity sell merchandise next to its donation appeals. The catch is age: the last update came on 25 March 2024, and the listing stays on Bootstrap 4.x.

Older fundraising picks and a multipurpose option

Born To Give suits a crowdfunding-style charity that needs many pages from day one. imithemes ships 29 HTML5 page templates, three header styles and an RTL version, and 807 buyers back it with a 4.67 rating. On the other hand, the code is Bootstrap 3 and the listing shows its last update on 2 March 2022. Its changelog even ends in August 2016, so expect some modernising.

9. Mist

Mist is the only multipurpose template on this list. It earns the spot with 2,263 sales and a 4.81 rating from 172 reviews. Version 1.4 added a FundRaiser variation for nonprofits, and version 2.0 in November 2023 moved it to Bootstrap 5. You also get 60+ home demos and 500+ HTML files for $19. Most of those demos serve other industries, though.

10. Heal

Heal from codexcoder is a charity template with a 4.82 rating from 11 reviews and 454 sales. The listing marks it Bootstrap 5.x compatible, and the download includes Sass files. It covers a donate page, about and contact pages and a working contact form. Its last update came on 27 December 2021, though, so check the demo on current devices before you commit.

11. FundBux

FundBux from modinatheme is a budget charity and fundraising template at $14. It ships three home pages, SCSS files and an Ajax PHP contact form on Bootstrap 4.x. However, it has 95 sales and no ratings yet, and the last update dates from 2 August 2021. So it stays in the list as a low-cost option, while Gracious offers a fresher build for even less money.

Church and faith-based picks

Adore Church has the highest rating in this collection: 4.88 from 25 reviews, with 669 sales. imithemes built it for churches and religious charities, so sermons with audio and video, a full events calendar and seven gallery types are all included. It also offers 12 colour schemes and an RTL version. However, it still runs on Bootstrap 3 and the listing shows its last update on 2 March 2022, so it sits below NativeChurch.

13. Blessing

Blessing from SatriaThemes is a church website template with 727 sales and a 4.00 rating from 12 reviews. The listing marks it Bootstrap 4.x compatible, and the download includes a working PHP contact form. However, its last update dates from 7 June 2017, the oldest in this collection. So it stays here as a simple church layout with a sales record, while NativeChurch and Adore Church offer more.

Which charity website templates should you pick?

For most charities in 2026, start with CharityFund. It has the widest layout choice, with dark and RTL versions in one package. A new organisation that wants a bolder look should open KindAid, while churches belong on NativeChurch. On a tight budget, Gracious costs $9 and was updated in February 2026.

Charity website templates: frequently asked questions

What is the best charity website template in 2026?

CharityFund is our top pick for layout choice: $17, 84+ layouts including dark and RTL versions, and a 4.70 rating. KindAid is the newest design, and NativeChurch is the best choice for churches. Read our CharityFund review for the detail.

Why did this list change from 3 to 13 templates?

The 2021 version listed only Governlia, FundBux and Gracious. We then merged our two older HTML5 charity round-ups, with 19 entries between them, into this page. Governlia left because it is a political template last updated in February 2021, so it fits our political HTML5 templates better. Several merged entries were no longer on sale or had not changed since 2015 to 2017. Multipurpose themes without a charity demo stayed out too. We also brought back one archived review (Heal) and wrote three new reviews (CharityFund, KindAid, NativeChurch).

Can I accept donations with an HTML template?

Yes, but not on its own. The templates provide donation pages and forms, while the payment itself needs a service behind them, such as a donation platform or a payment gateway. Plan that setup before launch.

Which template is best for a church?

NativeChurch has 1,677 sales, sermon audio and video, FullCalendar events and a Bootstrap 5 build. Adore Church from the same author has the highest rating here, 4.88 from 25 reviews. For the CMS route, see our church WordPress themes.

Do these templates support right-to-left languages?

Several do. CharityFund includes eight RTL layouts, while NativeChurch, Adore Church and Born To Give ship an RTL template. Findo includes RTL versions for Arabic and Hebrew.

How much do charity website templates cost?

From $9 to $35 for a regular ThemeForest licence. Gracious is the cheapest at $9 and Findo the most expensive at $35, while most cost $17 or $18. Hosting is separate, and our HTML hosting picks cover what a static site needs.

HTML template or WordPress theme for a charity?

An HTML template is fast, cheap and fully under your control, but every edit happens in code. A WordPress theme lets volunteers update pages from a dashboard. If that matters, compare our charity WordPress themes.
