Is MageThemePRO the same theme as the 2020 MageThemepro?
It appears so. The current MageThemePRO from magentech uses the same logo, menu and auto parts banner as the MageThemepro we reviewed in 2020. ThemeForest sells it as a new item, released on 31 October 2025, for $68. The listing names Magento 2.4.6 to 2.4.8 and Bootstrap 5.x, while the author's demo page names Bootstrap 4. However, it has only four sales so far and no rating.
Best for: budget Magento 2 stores that want a mobile-specific layout on a current Bootstrap 5 front end
After a gap, the MageThemePRO Magento theme is on sale again, now under the magentech account. The new release from 31 October 2025 lists Magento 2.4.6 to 2.4.8.
Same theme, new listing
We first reviewed MageThemepro in 2020, when it came from the magete account. Today the demo shows the same MageTheme PRO logo, the same menu and the same auto parts banner. So it appears to be the same product, re-listed.
However, ThemeForest sells it as a new item, and we could not find the older 2020 item by name. The new listing shows only four sales.
Mobile layouts and Bootstrap
MageThemePRO lets you pick a separate CMS page for mobile visitors. As a result, phones can show different content than desktops. In addition, the Compatible With field on ThemeForest lists Bootstrap 5.x. The author’s demo page, however, names Bootstrap 4, so the theme also appears in our Bootstrap 4 collection.
The theme also supports one, two or three column pages in wide or boxed layouts. Furthermore, you get six product page types and custom product labels.
Modules and marketplace support
The package bundles magentech’s SM modules. For example, you get SM Filter Products, Listing Tabs, Mega Menu, QuickCart Pro and a search box. Moreover, the listing names support for CedCommerce, CM Multivendor and Webkul marketplace extensions.
Still, the listing does not name Magento 2.4.9 yet. So check the changelog before you upgrade your store.
