Is Celebration still a good class reunion WordPress theme?
Celebration from BoldThemes is a $59 theme that carries class reunion in its own ThemeForest title, and it ships a dedicated reunion demo alongside two wedding demos. BoldThemes still maintain it - the most recent release landed on 15 June 2026, eleven years after the first. It holds a 4.38 rating from 26 buyers with 1,252 sales.
Best for: a reunion committee that wants the cheapest theme actually built for the job
The Celebration WordPress theme from BoldThemes is the one theme on ThemeForest with class reunion in its title. Moreover, it ships a reunion demo of its own. Therefore it is the natural starting point for a reunion site.
A reunion demo, not a recoloured wedding
BoldThemes drew three demos: wedding, wedding planners and class reunion. The reunion build opens on a dark campus photo with a countdown, then runs through When and Where, a gallery, testimonials and a location map. As a result the structure already matches what a committee needs. Furthermore, the RSVP form is part of the demo rather than a plugin you bolt on afterwards.
Celebration screens from the 2016 release
Eleven years old and still shipping
Celebration first went on sale eleven years ago. However, the most recent release is dated 15 June 2026 and the item lists WordPress 7.0.x support. Therefore this is a maintained theme rather than an abandoned listing, which is unusual for a 2016 product in a niche this narrow.
The cost calculator earns its keep
BoldThemes bundle their Cost Calculator plugin free with the theme. A reunion rarely has one price – dinner, drinks and a hotel block add up differently for each guest. Consequently a calculator that totals those options on the page saves a round of emails. In addition, Bold Builder handles the layout with drag and drop.
Where its age shows
The typography, button styling and section spacing are all 2016. Gutenberg Optimized is listed as No, so the block editor is not the intended workflow. Therefore, if a current look matters more than the exact fit, Avala from the same author is the newer alternative at $69 with sixteen homepages.
The rating and the record
Celebration holds 4.38 stars from 26 ratings after 1,252 sales. That is a middling score on a solid sales base. Meanwhile the demo root is a chooser: click through to the class-reunion path before judging the design, because the landing page only shows thumbnails.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Celebration made for class reunions?
Yes. Class reunion is part of its ThemeForest title, and one of its three demos is a full reunion layout with a countdown, an RSVP form, a gallery and a location map.
Is a theme from 2016 still safe to buy?
In this case the update record answers it. BoldThemes shipped a release on 15 June 2026 and the item lists WordPress 7.0.x support, so the code keeps pace even though the design does not.
Can Celebration collect RSVPs?
It can. The reunion demo includes an RSVP form where guests confirm attendance, and Contact Form 7 is supported for anything more elaborate.
Does Celebration sell tickets?
Not with a ticketing engine. WooCommerce is supported, so a ticket becomes a product, and the bundled Cost Calculator prices multi-part packages such as dinner plus accommodation.
Celebration or Avala?
Celebration is cheaper at $59 and names class reunion outright. Avala costs $69, rates higher at 4.74 and gives you sixteen homepages with a newer look, but its demo copy talks about weddings.
Does Celebration work with the block editor?
Gutenberg Optimized is listed as No. Layout is meant to be built in Bold Builder, BoldThemes’ own drag-and-drop builder, which ships with the theme.
