Need a Joomla drag and drop template that still installs on a supported Joomla release? This list first went up in 2020 with 15 entries, and our 8 September 2026 update raised it to 21. So this week we opened every one on ThemeForest and read the Software Version field, price, rating and last update. However, twelve did not survive. Four now return a 410 error, while eight stop at Joomla 3, which reached end of life in August 2023. Therefore we rebuilt the page around templates that list Joomla 5 or 6 and a real builder. Examples include SP Page Builder Pro, the Astroid layout builder and the Gantry 5 layout manager. As a result, 20 templates remain, including three new reviews.
How to choose a Joomla drag and drop template
Start with the Software Version field on the ThemeForest page, not the title. Joomla 4 reached end of life on 17 October 2025, while Joomla 3 ended in August 2023. Joomla 5.4 gets security fixes until 12 October 2027, and Joomla 6 gets them until October 2029. So pick a Joomla drag and drop template that lists Joomla 5 or 6.
Next, check which tool does the dragging. Most templates here bundle SP Page Builder Pro, which edits page content visually. Jollyany, FLEX and Apare also add a layout builder, while Paradise and InsightFX use the Gantry 5 layout manager. Finally, weigh the rating against the number of reviews, because a 5.00 from four buyers proves little.

Still, at $99 it costs more than most picks here.
5. InsightFX
InsightFX from joomfx runs on the Gantry 5 framework, so a drag and drop layout builder and menu editor come with it. It holds a 4.94 rating from 88 reviews across 1,261 sales, the highest score among the big sellers here. Furthermore, the listing now names Joomla 6, and the latest release came on 3 January 2026. It costs $99.

The 9 July 2026 update also covers Joomla 6 and 5. However, 94 sales have produced too few ratings for ThemeForest to show a score. It costs $69.

Akpager splits its twenty homepages evenly between multi-page and one-page designs. As a result, one licence covers a product site and a campaign page. It also supports HikaShop, while SP Page Builder Pro handles the editing. However, it has four sales and no ratings yet. It costs $69.
14. Landio
Landio carries eight homepage versions, SCSS source files and Isotope filtering on SP Page Builder Pro. It also still lists Joomla 4.4 beside Joomla 6 and 5, which helps agencies with older client sites. Keep in mind, though, that Joomla 4 left support in October 2025. Solidres also handles room bookings from a form at the bottom edge of the hero. The 3 January 2026 release added a Joomla 6 quickstart. It rates 4.54, but from only 13 reviews, and costs $99.

Why did this list change from 21 templates to 20?
The 2020 list had 15 entries, and six landing and multipurpose templates joined on 8 September 2026. This week four returned a 410 error, while eight stopped at Joomla 3. Then we added three new reviews and eight templates we had already reviewed. We also merged our 2014 and 2018 drag and drop pages into this one.
