Is the Bloom plugin still worth using in 2026?

Only if you already pay for Divi. Bloom is the email opt-in plugin from Elegant Themes, with pop-ups, fly-ins, inline forms, locked content, six triggers, A/B tests and 19 email integrations. It costs nothing extra, because the $89 yearly and $249 lifetime Divi plans include it. However, its official changelog shows no release since version 1.3.12 on April 1, 2021. Therefore, test it on staging first.

Best for: Divi members who want simple pop-up and inline opt-in forms on blogs or small business sites at no extra cost

The Bloom plugin is the email opt-in and lead generation plugin from Elegant Themes, the company behind Divi. It builds pop-ups, fly-ins and inline sign-up forms and sends subscribers to your email marketing service. You do not buy it on its own, though. Instead, Bloom comes with every Divi membership.

What the Bloom plugin does

Bloom turns visitors into subscribers with six display types. You get automatic pop-ups, fly-ins, inline forms placed with a shortcode, forms below post content, widget area forms and locked content. The last one hides part of a page until the reader subscribes.

Each form starts from one of more than 100 templates. Then you change colors, borders, edges, image position and form orientation. In addition, Elegant Themes says the forms and the dashboard are fully responsive.

Triggers and targeting for pop-ups and fly-ins

Timing matters more than design for a pop-up. Bloom offers six triggers: a timed delay, the bottom of a post, a scroll percentage, after a comment, after a purchase and after a period of inactivity. So you can ask engaged readers to subscribe instead of greeting every visitor with a box.

Targeting works on three levels. First, you choose post types and categories. Next, you include or exclude single posts and pages. Finally, you can run unlimited forms, each with its own offer.

Email integrations, A/B tests and stats

The product page lists 19 email marketing integrations. The official changelog names, for example, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, AWeber, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, HubSpot, MailerLite, MailPoet and Salesforce. You can connect several accounts, and Bloom pulls in their lists and subscriber counts.

Split testing is built in. Bloom shows variations of a form to different visitors and compares their conversion rates. Moreover, a stats dashboard tracks conversions and list growth, and an import and export tool moves settings between sites.

How much the Bloom plugin costs

Bloom has no price of its own. The pricing page of Elegant Themes says the $89 yearly plan includes all of its themes and plugins, Bloom and Monarch among them. The $249 lifetime plan covers the same suite with lifetime updates. Both plans allow unlimited websites and come with a 30-day refund. Our Divi pricing guide compares every plan.

In other words, Bloom is a bonus inside the membership. If you only need opt-in forms, that is a lot to pay for one tool. On the other hand, a Divi member gets it at no extra cost.

Is Bloom still updated?

None of the top-ranking reviews we checked mention this. The official changelog lists version 1.3.12, dated April 1, 2021, as the latest release. Before that, version 1.3.11 shipped in September 2020. We found no newer entry when we checked on October 19, 2026.

That does not mean Bloom stops working. Still, five years without a release is a long time for a plugin that talks to outside email APIs. For example, the changelog last added Sendinblue API v3 support, and Sendinblue has since rebranded as Brevo. Therefore, test Bloom on a staging site with your own email service before you rely on it.

Divi users also have a second option. The Divi theme ships its own Email Optin module, which handles inline sign-up forms inside the builder.

Key features:

  • Six display types, including pop-ups, fly-ins and locked content
  • Six triggers: delay, end of post, scroll, comment, purchase and inactivity
  • 19 email marketing integrations
  • 100+ pre-made opt-in templates with full color and layout control
  • A/B split testing and a conversion stats dashboard
  • Included with Divi on unlimited websites

Our verdict on the Bloom plugin

Already a Divi member? Then the Bloom plugin is a free way to start an email list, and its triggers and split tests still hold up. However, go in knowing that the last release dates from April 2021. See it in action on the official Bloom demo.
